July 31, 2007Kids say e-mail is, like, soooo dead????“Just ask a group of teen Internet entrepreneurs, who readily admit that traditional e-mail is better suited for keeping up professional relationships or communicating with adults.” This is nuts! You can’t archive a conversation on MySpace or Facebook. They are fine for brief stuff but for anything more than a few paragraphs - not using email is insane.

July 27, 2007Phoenix (where I live), Police Chase. 2 TV news helicopters crashed covering it.
The helicopters were following the chase from the air.
Freaky and sad. Reporters who knew them covering the story and then starting to cry. At that point they (of course) would cut away to anchors. It's been on TV for hours (as of this writing) non-stop on all Phoenix stations. They are (were) all streaming it on the web. I cry at the drop of a hat, so I've cried on and off watching this. I almost never watch the news (I get it online) so I didn't know who these people were but it's still sad nevertheless. July 11, 2007Time Magazine - 25 Sites We Can’t Live WithoutYes, another “best of the web” list, but this one is among the “best of the best of”. In my case, 20 of the sites were already among my favorites. That’s not often the case with these “best of” lists.
